Congratulations, Cabrina!

Cabrina walked into The Learning Center with a joyful smile on her face and announced she passed her math test and earned her GED! Cabrina said she was with a friend when she received her passing score and cried tears of happiness. Cabrina is looking forward to exploring a whole new world of career opportunities now that she has her diploma. Congratulations, Cabrina! We are so proud of your determination and for not giving up.

Congratulations, Rod!

We are so happy to announce that Rod has earned his GED! Rod spent the last 7 months in our GED classes. His teachers taught him the material he needed to know and instilled in him the confidence he needed to move forward with testing. Now that Rod has earned his diploma, he intends to take classes to become an HVAC technician. Congratulations, Rod! You did the hard work, and we are all so proud of you.

Nothing Stands In The Way For MJ

MJ arrived in America two years ago from Senegal. His first language is French, and he has been learn to speak English since his arrival. MJ was recruited to play basketball by a college in Georgia, but had one hurdle to face, which seemed impossible because of his language barrier. He needed a GED. MJ contacted The Learning Center in January and studied for the next six months. To the amazement of all, MJ passed all four sections of the GED and earned his GED yesterday. He made the deadline to register for college, which begins in a few weeks. MJ didn't let a new country or a new language stand in his way of pursuing his dreams. Congratulations, MJ. We'll be looking for you on the basketball court.

Congratulations, Gloria!

Words are hard to express how proud we are of Gloria. Gloria first came to The Learning Center seven years ago and worked her way up through classes. Outside of school, Gloria kept a job and managed a busy home life as a mom and grandmother. She didn’t always have extra time or energy to study outside of school. Through it all, Gloria continued to come to school with a smile on her face and determination to reach her goal. Yesterday was her day. Join me in congratulating Gloria on her amazing accomplishment.

Congratulations, Joshua!

Joshua always has a smile on his face. You can count on him to walk through the front door with the brightest smile and most positive attitude. Joshua first came to The Learning Center in May 2022 and finished his final section last week. Congratulations, Joshua! We are so extremely proud of your dedication and commitment to learning. Joshua plans to enroll in a 10-month digital photography course. We look forward to seeing all the creative ways Joshua uses photography in the future.

Education Is a High Priority For This Graduate

Xuan came to The Learning Center with a desire to learn and a heart full of joy. We have never seen Xuan without a smile on her face. She is truly a joy to be around. Xuan first came to The Learning Center in February 2025 and quickly moved through her classes and passed each section of the GED test quickly. Xuan plans to keep coming to school to continue learning. Congratulations, Xuan!

Our Newest Graduate!

Congratulations to our newest graduate! He arrived at The Learning Center in January and after a few months of studying with our teachers, he passed all necessary tests and officially earned his diploma. He is looking forward to enrolling in college and pursuing his dream of becoming a vet. Congratulations!

Perseverance pays off!

Chuck said he made a promise to God to get his GED and we are happy to report that Chuck followed through with his promise and passed his last test, earning his diploma. Chuck quickly became a figure of determination and an example to everyone at The Learning Center that perseverance pays off. Congratulations, Chuck. We are so proud of you.
