Two New Graduates!
The past few weeks have been so exciting as we have had 2 students earn their diploma! A BIG congratulations goes to Ricardo and Mike. Ricardo passed a few sections of the GED last year however he struggled with math. He took a break from school and recently came back with renewed motivation. He attended a few math classes and was soon able to pass the math test which allowed him to earn his GED.
Mike came to class with most of the knowledge needed to pass the tests. After attending classes for a refresher of the material, Mike quickly passed all four sections. We are so excited for these two men as many opportunities are now available to them.
A Big Congratulations to Lorenzo

Our newest graduate! Ana had a goal of earning her diploma before January and she obtained her goal. Ana passed the last test today which means she is now a graduate and has earned her GED. Ana is a calming and sweet lady who always showed up for class ready to learn with a smile on her face. Now that she is a graduate, Ana plans to obtain her license to work in the insurance field. She may also look into going to college and obtaining a business degree. Ana has what it takes and we are so proud of her determination. Way to go, Ana!
Congratulations, Maria!
Maria started classes at The Learning Center in 2021. English is her second language and anyone can tell you that studying for the GED tests in a language that is not your native tongue is very difficult. Maria improved her English throughout her time here and was able to pass all four tests and earn her diploma last week. We are so proud of Maria!
